BMW E92 Pre-LCI Front Bumper FAQs
The biggest difference between the E92/E93 LCI and the pre-LCI version is the year of manufacture. Pre-LCI BMWs were released between 2007-2009 while LCI was from 2010-2013.
Another noticeable difference is the grill style. Front bumper design on the pre-LCI is made in a two-piece style, with the top part attached to the hood, while on the E92/E93 LCI-style front bumper everything is just one piece that is permanently attached to the hood.
The pre-LCI also has a lot of snap-in holes for the grille (around seven holes) while the E92/E93 LCI has a lot fewer. The shape of the light brackets for the headlights and fog lights is also different in both designs.
